Founder
John focuses his time on several key areas of the firm. These include meeting regularly with clients to understand how we can better serve them and their families, enhancing QA’s client advice, education, and technology platforms, and developing and supporting our growing national client base. He is also Chairman of QA’s Board of Governors and a member of QA’s Investment Committee.
Prior to co-founding QA in 2000 and serving as QA’s CEO for over 20 years, John began his career as a Merrill Lynch financial advisor and branch manager in Chicago, before starting an independent advisory firm. He earned a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and has worked in the financial industry for more than three decades.
John and his wife Lisa have three adult children, one working in FinTech and two in college, and are active in various church and charity related pursuits. John enjoys spending time outdoors during each of the seasons, paddling, biking, and hiking.
